Law No. 18,331 · Uruguay

Your data, in plain sight

Inmigrante UY processes your personal data under Uruguay’s Personal Data Protection and Habeas Data Act (Law No. 18,331), overseen by the URCDP. Here’s what we keep, who with, and how to delete it.

What data we collect

From your Google account when you sign in: your name and email.

From your profile, what you provide: country of origin, work situation, time in the country, and whether you have children.

From your activity: your queries to the assistant and how many requests you make.

Sensitive data

Your migration status is sensitive data. We use it only to give you guidance and never share it for any other purpose.

Who we share it with

Supabase hosts the database where your account and profile are stored, and keeps them until you delete your account.

Groq processes your queries to generate the assistant’s answers.

Tavily runs the web search across official sites that backs each answer.

MercadoPago processes payments: we do not store your card details, only the payment reference to activate your plan.

Your rights

You can access, rectify, and delete your data at any time (habeas data, Law 18,331).

How to delete your account

Sign in and, in your account menu (top right), tap “Delete account”. Your profile, plan, payments, and usage history are deleted immediately and permanently.
